TRUSTED, LOCAL & FAITH-CENTERED
Listing & Advertising Standards
Effective September 7, 20261. Purpose
Beyond Sunday helps people discover faith-centered churches, businesses, communities, events, jobs, and service opportunities in Lake County and selected major Christian events in Greater Orlando. These standards explain what we generally include and how promotional placements are handled.
2. Standards for every listing
- Information must be accurate, current, lawful, and relevant to the directory.
- The submitter must have permission to provide submitted text, logos, and photographs.
- A working official website, church page, organizer page, or reputable source should be available for verification.
- Listings must not contain deceptive claims, harassment, hate, explicit material, unsafe instructions, or unlawful offers.
- Public descriptions may be edited for clarity, length, consistency, and accessibility.
3. Churches
Church listings are free. A church should serve Lake County or a closely connected local area, identify publicly as Christian, provide verifiable public information, and offer a current way for visitors to confirm service details. Denomination, worship style, congregation size, and paid status do not determine placement.
4. Christian-owned businesses
Business applicants must identify as Christian-owned or Christian-led, serve Lake County, and agree to operate with honesty, integrity, respect, lawful business practices, responsible customer care, and conduct consistent with Beyond Sunday’s stated biblical standards. Applicants may be asked to explain how their faith shapes their work.
Approval is not automatic. Screening is intended to determine directory fit; it is not a theological certification, professional-license verification, financial review, background check, or guarantee of future conduct. Consumers should perform their own due diligence.
5. Communities and meetups
Community listings should provide an ongoing way to connect, be faith-centered, have a clear organizer or administrator, and explain who the group serves and how people may join. Private addresses and personal contact details should not be submitted for publication without permission.
6. Events
Lake County event listings must be hosted by a church or explicitly promoted as Christian. Greater Orlando listings are generally reserved for larger Christian concerts, conferences, tours, speakers, worship gatherings, and major family events. Events should have a confirmed date, location, status, and working official source. Past, canceled, unverifiable, ordinary secular, or misleading events may be excluded or removed.
7. Jobs and service opportunities
Opportunities must identify the responsible organization, provide accurate duties or participation details, and comply with applicable law. Beyond Sunday does not verify working conditions, compensation, volunteer screening, insurance, or organizational safety practices.
8. Sponsorships, premium listings, and advertising
Advertising and paid placements are labeled clearly as “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” or similar language. Payment may provide defined visibility benefits, but it does not purchase a positive review, guarantee consumer results, or exempt a business from applicable listing standards. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, substantiation, permissions, and intellectual-property rights associated with their claims and creative materials.
Beyond Sunday may decline an advertisement that conflicts with the directory’s audience, mission, safety expectations, or published standards. Premium benefits and rates may change before an agreement is finalized.
9. Corrections, concerns, and removal
We may correct, pause, decline, or remove listings that are inaccurate, expired, unsafe, no longer eligible, the subject of credible concerns, or inconsistent with these standards. A concern does not automatically establish wrongdoing. We may seek information from the listed organization before making an editorial decision.
Submit a correction through the website or email jaimierose23@hotmail.com. Include the listing name, the information at issue, and a reliable source when possible.
